Fake Online Bachelor Degrees – What Should You Check For?

Filed under: Education — Mary Jackson @ 8:02 am

Along with the growing popularity of obtaining an online Bachelor degrees, many bogus schools have cropped up to cash in, taking advantage of potential students seeking a genuine education to maintain their current level of employment, or achieve specific career goals. Unfortunately, the sales pitch attracts many students who do not possess the time, or the finances, to gain a college education. The main selling points may include easy graduation, no tests or end of semester exams, credit for life experiences, and lower tuition fees. Some diploma mills even have the audacity to make money through bulk emails offering to sell university degrees.

Therefore, with all the confusion generated, how can students sieve out the genuine from the bogus? This may be especially difficult for distance learning programs when students practically make their choices based on what is shown on a website. In many cases, especially for international students, it may not be feasible to visit the physical site of a college before enrolling. With this, making choices will really depend on the appearance and content of a website, which sometimes may not be an accurate judge of the creditability of a college.

One of the best ways to determine credibility is to pay close attention to how the credentials are stated. For example, if an educational institution claims to have nationwide or worldwide accreditation, without revealing which government agency provided the accreditation, it’s possible the college or university probably does not possess the necessary seal of approval to provide legitimate online Bachelor degrees.

The six accreditation agencies given the authority to grant college and university accreditation are entrusted with governing the institutions within their geographical section of the United States as follows: New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), North Central Association of Schools and Colleges (NCA), Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges (MSA), Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges (NWCCU). With specific states for each agency, it is easier to check whether an online learning facility is accredited and registered.

Another tell-tale sign of bogus online bachelor degrees offered is when the university advertises itself through mass-mailing email featuring university degrees for sale. Many bogus distance learning institutions prey on people who are desperate for a degree, but don’t have the time and money to go for proper education. That is why these colleges boast of degrees without any examinations, classes, studying or even waiting. There are even websites that offer online bachelor degrees for just a few hundred dollars which can be ordered and received within 7 days. Furthermore, some of them also have dubious accrediting links, stating accreditation from agencies which are not any one of the six listed above. Additionally, they offer fixed prices for their Master’s, Bachelor’s, and even Doctorate Degrees. Their justification for awarding degrees will be for giving credit to life experiences such as any type of work experience, any educational background, any workshops or community services attended as well as travel experience, hobbies and even on the number of books that a person has read!

In short, with the plethora of bogus degrees already causing employers to question online education, make sure your online Bachelor degree is earned from a college or university accredited by one of the six agencies endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education.

Mary Jackson is the author for online bachelor degrees as well as other accredited distance learning colleges where you can attain your education.

Past Regression – Why It Is Vital To Your Future

Filed under: Education — Lesley Lockwood @ 8:04 am

As more people today begin to believe in reincarnation. It is hard to decide the best way to start on the journey of remembering your past lives.

A good tool that can prove very beneficial when referred back to is a journal. In your journal you will need to record all your thoughts and feelings. Even those that seem inconsequential to you at the time. You also need to write down any emotions that you may feel, as it is generally believed that emotions are a strong link connecting us to our past life or lives. Do not forget that even something as unimportant as an irrational fear of cracks in a sidewalk can prove very useful and need to be made a note of in your journal.

A good way to start this journal is to write down things like your likes and dislikes, phobias, food, being drawn to certain time periods, architecture, food, cultures, and climates. Also add things like times of Dj Vu, talents and occupations, the kind of animals and your personality and maybe even birthmarks.

Your dreams also give clues in your past life. But keep in mind your dreams contain things from your present life as well but write it down anyway.

Another way to go is Past life Regression.

A past life regression therapist guides you through your past life and interprets the information with your help. These therapist are trained professionals who use hypnosis. With time some people can learn to do self-hypnosis but for those who cannot, seeing a past life regression therapist can prove very beneficial and helpful.

For lots of people the method they prefer is meditation.

When meditating there is usually no professional assisting and so many people find it difficult to trust the information they get during their sessions. But trusting your feelings as well as your instincts is necessary with meditation.

Many people, especially beginners, feel like all they are doing when meditating is daydreaming. But something of significance can still come through. Recording this in your journal can prove helpful.

If you need help with your meditation that can assist you to focus and relax then you might well find guided meditation audios particularly beneficial. If that is not for you then you might try music, or perhaps burning some incense, or even listening to the sound of water can be very calming. But if none of the above proves useful there is another tool that can help.

Binaural Beats

With Binaural Beats you listen to different frequencies in each ear that help you to attain the same meditative state that Zen monks can reach. You should choose somewhere quiet and free from any kind of distractions and disturbances. Somewhere that enables you to sit or lie down comfortably.

Keep a positive state of mind and do not allow yourself to be distracted by any thoughts about your daily life. Although it might happen until you gain more experience with meditation. Instead of being completely side tracked try to make a note of it and then put it out of your mind. One thing that you need to remember is that meditation takes practice so do not give up when nothing seems to happen in the beginning. It is when we achieve a proper meditative state that questions will arise, just be prepared to find the answers when you are not expecting to.

This technique maybe of help in resolving issues in your current life. Some people have found that sometimes the people in their current life they have shared with a life with them before. In this way, you can do some research to verify the information received.

Reincarnation is present in every religion from Christianity to the Hindus. Some of these religions so strongly believe in reincarnation that they believe that any thing you do in one life for either good or bad will be paid for in the next life known as Karma. Then again knowing what happened to you in the past life may help you make a positive change in this one.

Keep in mind that you have to go into any of these practices with an open mind and be able to accept that what comes out. Your mind has to accept that it is all right to remember the past life while you are learning to accept the memories that are deeply buried in the subconscious. You have to be willing to learn from your past mistakes and correct them in this one so that this present life is better than the last.

Many experts in these area feel that has very positive impacts on your life now due to fore mentioned, learning from the past and if you still don’t accept past lives your subconscious may free a block in your mind that has had a negative effect on your body. There are other benefits from having done a past life regression.

Helping in deal with things from the past that will help in making better decisions. If the regression brings out something you have done in the past that was less than kind, then suffer negative results from it then you know that you can’t do that in this life.

Another way that past life regression can be beneficial is that from it you may discover that you have talents and/or abilities that you did not know of and that will aid you in enjoying your current life that much more. It can explain talents or abilities that you may have that you never understood before. For instance, perhaps you are good at singing while the rest of the people in your family are tone deaf! The fact that you were a singer in your past life will explain why you ave that ability in your present life.

Past life regression allows you to get to know yourself better, thereby making better decisions and choices n your current life. Therefore it is beneficial to investigate it further, as it helps you to discover just who you are and why you are the way you are.

Washington Offense In A State Of Flux

Filed under: Hobbies — Ross Everett @ 8:08 am

The Washington Redskins are a mess right now. Head coach Jim Zorn has a tenuous hold on his job at best and after Sunday’s—6 loss to Kansas City was stripped of his offensive play calling duties. Management installed newly hired ‘offensive consultant’ Sherman Lewis as the new offensive play caller and the team has set up an awkward arrangement for him to get the plays to the quarterbacks. For that reason, starting QB Jason Campbell has some serious misgivings about the efficacy of the setup.

Lewis has only been out of retirement and with the team for two weeks, and has spent this week trying to ingest a crash course on the Redskins’ offensive schemes. While he was learning on the job, head coach Zorn was trying to put the best spin possible on the situation’:

“I need to have composure. I need to understand what the reality of the situation is, and I think our players expect me to rise up. We expect them to play under adverse conditions. We expect them to risk it all. … I’m conscious of what’s going on. I’m not naive about what’s going on, and yet I have to just hold back on any feelings and make the decisions.”

Quarterback Campbell is more concerned about the convoluted system of getting plays from Lewis to him:

“There’ll probably be a couple of plays I have in my head just in case if some reason it doesn’t get in on time.”

Here’s how things are supposed to work-Lewis will sit in the coaches’ box above the field and read the plays off a sheet. While Lewis has years of experience working in the so called ‘West Coast Offense’, Zorn left doubt that he really knows what he’s doing at this point stressing that Lewis “doesn’t know the protections” and “doesn’t know the blitz schemes.” Nevertheless, he’ll be running the offense when the Redskins take on Philadelphia this Monday night.

Once Lewis figures out what to call, that’s when it really gets tricky. He’ll relay the plays via headset not to Zorn but to offensive coordinator Sherman Smith. Smith will then inform the quarterback what to run. Zorn is left in the role of a passive bystander on offense, though he will listen in to the playcalling on his headset.

Backup quarterback Todd Collins also shared his concern with the new arrangement:

“It is unsettling. I’ve never gone through this before. I’ve never had a play caller get changed in the middle of the season.”

Lewis didn’t exactly evoke a lot of confidence upon his hiring, where he revealed that he’d been calling bingo games at a seniors’ center to kill time since his retirement in 2004. Still, Collins gave him a guarded vote of confidence;

“I know he’s been studying last year’s game against the Eagles and seems to have a pretty good idea how he wants to call the game this week. It’s the same plays. He might coach them a little differently or highlight some different areas, but the offense hasn’t gone under an overhaul or anything like that.”

The Redskins haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game this season, so maybe the thinking is that things can’t get any worse.

How To Become a Certified Hypnotherapy Professional

Filed under: Business — Gerald Green @ 8:05 am

There are a lot of recognized courses offered by reputed institutes on hypnosis in general and particularly its healing arm, hypnotherapy. Gaining proficiency in the art of hypnotherapy and making use of it in everyday life is possible through these training courses.

Such training aims at making participants excellent mind readers and makes them competent in tracing the buried causes behind low self confidence and other psychological problems that the patient might be suffering from. You can use the knowledge and expertise gained in the training to notably improve your own life as well as help others.

It takes more than just attending a course to undertake effective hypnosis training. Constant practice and strong will power are required to be skilled in this activity, as is the case with any other high skill activity. A person possessing a healthy and open mind is in a better position to imbibe and internalize the lessons imparted in hypnosis training. The healthier one’s mind is, the higher will be his levels of concentration, boldness and motivation.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful curative remedy that brings with it a range of benefits. Hypnotherapy training enables a person to connect with his subconscious and significantly transform his own persona. Conditioning of the mind by cleansing it of negative thoughts and implanting positive thoughts deep into the unconscious is what this technique aims at, so that the person’s behaviour can be altered and his disorders removed.

One can do hypnosis on his own self, which is known as self hypnosis, or make another person the subject. Self hypnosis is a great path towards self-discovery and self-enhancement that helps the individual become more self-assured, a good speaker, excellent relationship manager, and therefore more successful in his professional life. Levels of fortitude and inspiration can be notably increased through a slight dusting of the unconscious.

Hypnotherapy training can also be used in a full-fledged occupation by people who help affected individuals come out of their disorders. All sorts of aberrant behaviour can be rectified by an experienced hypnotherapist. From anxiety to irrational fears and from obsessive compulsions to childhood disorders, hypnosis can provide a cure for all, if practiced correctly. Hypnotherapy can also be performed on the streets just to create knowledge about the subject and to teach the public about the capabilities of the subconscious mind.

Hypnosis training equips a person with a set of skills that he can use for occupational purposes or for tackling sensitive situations and tough people, and therefore people from any profession or age group stand to gain from this training.

Tips On How To Become A Bridal Photographer

Filed under: Hobbies — Ron Wong @ 8:02 am

You are creating something that people will keep for years to come. You are capturing a very special moment in people’s lives. Every bride and groom wants someone who is well trained and who will guarantee quality. You can make a lot of money if you decide to be a wedding photographer. With the money comes the risk which you must manage well.

If this is going to be your first wedding shoot you will want to make sure your contract is written up properly and a disclaimer included in it. A disclaimer is something that can prevent you from being sued later on. For example, you should include that you are not responsible for pictures that might get lost after you send the film away to get developed, or pictures that do not come out clear due to equipment failure. Otherwise you could get sued for breach of contract.

Now with that said you should also include how many pictures are to be taken and how long you will be photographing for and what hourly rate will be. Something else you should include would be the fees for developing and the fee of the album. Make sure you discuss with your clients what their requirements are. There could be a particular family member that they want photographed separately, or a certain group of people they do not get to see very often.

Make a list of all the pictures that your client’s requested. Generally your clients will want pictures of the pre-ceremony, wedding ceremony, post-ceremony and of course the reception. Discuss with the clients about which shots they want and who’s going to be in the pictures. Pay attention to what your clients are saying because each one will be different.

When you schedule your clients in make sure they pay you a deposit. At least 50% deposit should be paid prior to the wedding. So you don’t end up bothering the bride and groom during the reception, arrangements should be made for when the remainder will be paid. It would look very unprofessional if you did.

Photoshop is a good program to use if you are going to be processing the pictures yourself. You can enhance the photos with all sorts of techniques such as flaw removal, montage, changing the color to black and which or sepia, as well as other unique features.

Always look to see how you can add more value than what you said you would give. A special surprise will keep everyone talking and generating more business for you in the future. Think different. Imagine for example if you uploaded all their pictures onto a password protected part of your website so that they and their friends can login and view.

At the end of the day doing wedding photography can be a lot of fun and you can make good money at it. You may have to take your people skills to the next level but the financial returns will be worth it.
