Cupcakes May Replace The Real Cake On Your Wedding Day

Filed under: Wedding — Guest Author @ 7:08 am

Everytime I go to a wedding, I can’t help but wonder if the cake is real or not. I mean I know that the base layer of the cake is real but if it is a 3 or 5 tier cake, is the rest real or not? I guess I’ll never know because I personally think that it would be embarrassing for the couple to confide that kind of information. And I am just a mere guest so I would have to respect their privacy regarding that matter.

Anyways, to others who wouldn’t want to be in that type of predicament when your wedding day comes, I advise that you come up with newer yet less expensive alternatives when it comes to the wedding cake. If you’re going to pursue a quick internet tour on the newest trends when it comes to wedding cakes and such, you may notice other activities than just cake. You will notice cupcakes that tend to be put jointly in layers to form or appear like a cake. There are generally those that are packed individually in transparent plastic boxes with pretty ribbons for you to be able to stack it very easily. The last thing you want is for one’s wedding cake or wedding cupcakes to collapse even before you eat or distribute it.

This reminds me of a lot of wedding concepts that I have seen at a recent wedding expo at the mall last week. It has always been a tradition that only the newly wed couple may eat their wedding cake while the guests watch them feed each other. Presently, you can even share the wedding cake with all the guests and help to make it your wedding souvenir at the same time. Isn’t really that a good way saving up on dessert and souvenir? You get to share your “wedding cake” with your guests and nearly everybody else which they could eat as dessert after the chief course and also at similar time, they can easily take a picture of it as a souvenir before eating it. I presume it’s very practical and it will really save you lots of your money.

You could even design the cupcakes according to your interest. The traditional wedding cake will absolutely cost you an arm if you are going to have just one custom-made for almost everyone to share but with cupcakes, each just one may be designed as the others and it’ll obviously taste just as heavenly as the real wedding cakes, only in smaller servings.

You may even have it dipped in either white or dark chocolate before you possess the other specifics designed onto each cupcake. Many meticulous consumers and clients opt for to have each just one hand-made while a lot of probably would not mind having edible ink printed on fondant to help to make it easier and also to be in a position to produce more cupcakes in lesser time.

Personally, I think it doesn’t matter whether you’re going to have a real wedding cake on your wedding reception or if you prefer to have a stack of wedding cupcakes fabulously designed to fit your big day. What matters is that you get by the special day successfully without having to suffer any consequences in the end. Sometimes, people tend to overspend and we go beyond our means. Being practical also means being creative in your own little ways to make sure that what you need is what you get.
